We just started to verify penny auction sites. What does it means and what are we doing? We are datamining penny auction sites on long period of time (24h-48h) and saving their live data in a temporary database. Afterwards, we analyze the data and try to find glitches (we control everything winners, bids spent, times and date, increments, and so on), suspicious bidders (who act like bots) and suspicious activities.
It doesn’t necessary means that the audited penny auction site is 100% fair but at least it means that they are not blatantly cheating.
